1. What is the maximum digging depth of the machine?
The machine can dig to a maximum depth of 1.65 meters.
2. How many hours is the equipment available for hire per day?
The equipment is available for hire on a daily basis, with a standard rental period from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
3. Can I hire the equipment for a short period, such as a few hours?
Please contact us for more information on flexible hire periods.
4. What are the dimensions of the excavator?
The excavator is 2770mm in length, 925mm in width, 2300mm in height with an operating weight of 1400kg.
5. Do I need prior experience to operate the machine?
We are able to provide instruction on how to operate the 1.4T mini excavator before you take it out on hire, however it is recommended the hirer has some operating experience or has an understanding of safe operation.
6. Are there any additional costs for delivery or collection of the machine?
Delivery and collection are calculated via zones from Ipswich CBD. Please refer to our service areas page for pricing.
7. Can I hire alternative attachments with the 1.4T mini excavator?
Yes, we offer various attachments such as buckets, augers, rippers and rakes that can be rented separately or with the excavator.
8. What happens if I need to return the machine early due to unforeseen circumstances?
We understand that unexpected delays can occur. Contact us to discuss your options and we will work with you to find a solution.
9. What are the accepted payment methods?
Currently we accept card, cash and bank transfer. An invoice and receipt will be provided.
10. Is the equipment insured?
Our 1.4T Mini Excavator is covered by comprehensive excavator insurance.
11. Can I hire the equipment for more than 7 days?
All equipment is available for longer hire periods however, hire rates reset after 7 days. For example, 8 days would cost $700 plus an additional $175. Our team will also need to attend to inspect the equipment each 7 days to ensure it is operating smoothly and conduct any maintenance required.
